Growler Digital Video Studios was founded by CEO Dave DeLancey back in the digital dark ages of 1991. Dave, at the time, was a Naval Aviator tasked by his Commanding Officer to create a "welcome aboard" presentation for an Admiral who was coming to conduct an inspection. An active musician on the side, he had friends in the up and coming music video industry and was quickly introduced to the fledgling world of non-linear digital editing. His first studio creation "Right Now" was a 9 minute smash hit, combining aviation footage, hand held VHS squadron shots, and rock and roll music. Over the years, it has led to scores of solicitations for Official US Navy productions which have been seen by Congress and the Joint Chiefs.
